Sooo yeah. I want the kerscher lip but don't want to pay the kerscher prices since the car is a daily and will probably get scraped left and right.
I've searched a ton but could not find anything. Does anyone happen to know if one exists?

There is this one.

http://www.ebay.com.au/itm/FRONT-LIP...53.m1438.l2649

I've been tossing up whether or not to buy it for weeks now. The shape is exactly the same as the Kerscher and it looks quite good fitted in their photo. With that being said, they say it is made of carbon fibre but looking at the close-up picture, it looks more like the pattern is printed on. That's the only thing stopping me from buying it.

It pretty clearly says the material is ABS plastic...still sounds like a good deal for a nice looking splitter, especially on a daily driver where you could easily damage an expensive CF lip

If they still refuse to ship it to you, you could try and find a forum member in the UK to have it delivered to and then have them ship it to you.

It says "ABS Carbon Fibre"; whatever that is meant to be. Most carbon fibre lips are carbon fibre reinforced plastic (CFRP) which is just carbon overlaid onto a plastic frame. This seems to be different though. It definitely doesn't look like genuine carbon fibre but they definitely have it listed as carbon fibre in the description.

But yeah, either way it's still a good price for a decent looking lip. I'm still undecided on whether or not to buy it or just pay for a genuine Kerscher. I'm tossing up the idea of buying this and wrapping it in carbon fibre vinyl.

I wasn't talking about what is says in the description, but what the "item specifics" area says. And CFRP actually stands for Carbon Fiber Reinforced Polymer, which just means that there is a carbon fiber weave embedded in a polymer matrix

That blue 1er is mine in the photo. They used that photo without permission.
That is an original Kercher Lip. No knock off stuff on my car. That might not be the same fitment.

Necro bump. Anyone ever find a plastic replica? I love the look, but don't want to overpay for carbon.

I know it's not the same, but I'm gonna be going with this eBay front lip for the time being. Cheap, and I'll just paint it gloss black and call it a day. Way too many potholes around my area to risk anything more expensive, at least while it's my sole DD.

Thanks for that, but it's not my taste. I think the Kerscher lip is the look I want, I'm just not going to pay $600 because it's a piece of carbon being drug across the ocean. haha

I was looking for Kercher reps last week, and didn't find too much. Figured I'd get some lip just for the show season, then replace it whenever something more attractive shows up. LMK if you do find anything, I'll try to do the same.

Yeah. I'll post up if I track something down for sure. Thanks
