Maybe I missed it in reading through the threads, but just trying to narrow down the problem. (My system is in a box in my garage waiting for install!)
I have a set of new akra dp's sitting in my closet. If I decide to install, I'll be sure to comment.

In my case the passenger side is too close to the inner part of the diffuser. I played with the adjustment for a while, seemed I got it better but after a full heat cycle it went back to looking pretty much like before the adjustment...

Thanks for sharing. Did you contact akra about this?

I've seen mechanics stick a broom handle or small baseball bat into the exhausts of cars and "tweak" them into alignment. Not sure IF titanium bends though!? Just a thought.

I would be super pissed if I had to this kind of "tweaking" to a brand new 5K exhaust

On the other hand, if installed correctly, the misalignment is really disappointing

My issues are similar to ///M1, the clearance side to side and upwards are both issues. I took it to a company that manufactures exhausts on Friday. They were not impressed! Titanium does not respond to 'tweaks' well and they would not do this. The nature of the joints make it difficult to adjust. My installation results in the right side tail pipes protruding approx 10 mm more than the left, this can be seen across the whole of the rear box when viewed from underneath. I have been given an email address at Akrapovic. I received a response earlier in the week along the lines of sorry you are having problems, all of our other customers are happy. There was also a promise to look in to it with the R&D department, I've not heard anything further as yet.
I would encourage all others with issues to raise this with the contact I have been given, Reven Mitja in the marketing department mitja.reven@akrapovic.si

I was seriously considering the Akrapovic with the wireless kit but after seeing all of these fitment issues I'm steering clear. The sad part is it does not appear to be an isolated issue. Hope they step up to the plate and make it right especially for what they cost.

Should have more clearance than the one in the pictures above, otherwise the hot tips might rub against the rear valence/bumper during drives. Check the videos below to see its movements during driving.

See 01:43-02:39 (Akra 1M test)

See 00:31-00:35 (Akra 1M commercial)

I can accept a company not be perfect as there are always the human factor involve. I will keep my purchase on hold until the outcome from Steve. I just want to make sure if I have a problem, I am being looked after.

seen a ton of 1 M's with the system never heard of this issue. Id Call corporate Im sure they will take care of it or replace it. Not saying you did something wrong, but id confirm the install was done all correctly. THe pipes leave slight room for adjustment. I definitely wouldn't fight it. If it doesn't fit right then it doesn't fit. What I do know is Akrapovic will take care of it. I have not ever been this happy with an Exhaust. On top of that it sounds way better then the videos.

They are a very solid unit, to "adjust" them with a broom for example once mounted would be very difficult.

Hope this helps as a reference from how well mine seem to be located.

Mine were aligned well upon initial install, just as the last photo above by Alpine ^^^. However after a few heat cycles they 'drifted' and could not restore the perfect fit. I have a couple of thousands miles on the exhaust now and even though we tried our best to realign it last week, it looks as per the pics I posted above.

There really is not much one can do in terms of directional/sideway adjustments (short of the tips of course but those can just go inward/forward, not leftward/rightward).

Probably gonna get the Revozport diffuser eventually and the design of it (fins) will ensure the exhaust doesn't hit the diffuser, so again, based on my experience fitment is far from perfect. Hoping me and Steve are the sole exception.

i just realized that mine is not an alignment issue, at the start up the car with the closed valve ( white) the annoying sound present itself, but if I put the start up the car with the open valve (red) it doesn't , I'm wondering why? any idea?

I dont think the muffler placement is possible that way on a 135, I cant remember exactly but I believe that space is full on the 135.

We have a carbon canister system there. It can not be removed. (Well, not in a cost effective fashion).
