Looks virtually the same as my spec except for comfort access.

Any idea on production and delivery dates?

It's the perfect car for me - I hope!
Just impression from my 135i.

Good wheel base = Not really it's short, less rotational mass
COG = The hark back to 2002 makes the roofline much taller than modern day cars, in part because the car is small higher roof makes interior seems roomy.
Interior = The interior quality is camry/accord level, which is good but not S class good. On par with 3 series.

I think your E46M3 is still a better driver's car.

What is wrong with short wheelbase?

The mass of the roof is not that great, so a slightly higher roof isn't going to make *much* difference tbh.

I think the interior will be fine, functional and hardwearing. I want a more "raw" experience than an S-class anyway - I'm 30 not 60! ;-)

Sorry, top of the page.

When you placed your order, did you get an allocation, order number or expected production and delivery dates?

Thanks,

Mark.

Yes, yes & yes. May 20th. I have a very early car, maybe even one of the first.

Firstly call them - tell them it's not on SA3 (the ordering system).

Which dealer are you with?

Well Synter are a huge group in UK so may have more clout. I think Vines only have three dealerships in the South.

TBH I don't mind. At least they aren't hassling me and it gives me more time to look at the competition and the 1M itself at the NEC.

As long as I get one should I want one then that's all that matters!

I would not drop the nav, its the finest Navigation system and ipod integration I've seen yet. (and I've seen almost everything on the market).

Just emailed my dealer to let them know about this.

Hopefully I will be able to go up soon and do the same thing

edit: my dealer just replied to my email and I am going up on Thursday to spec it up and therefore I presume confirm my order and hopefully get a delivery date! Will let you know mine when I do.

Really you reckon it's a must? I'm still debating whether I should get it.
