Drove the car 10.5 hours to South Carolina as a midpoint for my move to Florida. Waiting it out here (four hours from the coast) until Sunday and finishing up my trip. I was nervous given the known issues of these cars but it did great on the drive down. I did detune it to stock just for some relief on the car. Ended up getting great gas milage too which I was shocked about. Maybe I'm just way to heavy footed when driving locally hahaha

Here's to hoping you and your car get there safely.

I hope your SC waypoint is nearer the Georgia than NC border.

Yeah this storm has thrown a wrench into things. I left unexpectedly two days early to get down here. Leaving Sunday to get down to Florida and fly to Vegas Monday morning. Tight fucking timeframe but it'll be fun. Vegas and New Orleans next week so I may just die

Replaced the left side turn bulb and found out why it broke. Could have been worse.

averaged 30mpg on the way out to Palm Springs to host a training for one of our company's regions. Was a welcome sight as I'm seeing 15.5 since installing the DP.

Bought and attached the OE vibration absorber to my PE a couple of days ago. Had noticed this part missing from my exhaust after seeing it on BAN_M2's build thread last week. I'm assuming it doesn't come with the PE and when my exhaust guy installed my PE back in 2011 he neglected to transfer it over from my OE exhaust. After installing I notice the exhaust has less noise and more pure exhaust sound when getting on it in higher RPMs.

Interesting..

Initially we were thinking it was to avoid resonance and kill drone??

I read many of your guys takes on the full PE before switching to it and my concern would be having a shitload of drone but I have not noticed any at cruising speeds.

I am loving the tone on it, did a cold start after a few hundred miles on it and the car has a deep sound almost comparable to the M2 setup I had. It was also non resonates setup but it was a high flow Cat rather than Catless like this one.

Picked her up after spending three months at the body shop.

She looks perfect!!! Like, seriously, perfect.

Shout out to the guys at Mark Motors in Ottawa. Seriously phenomenal work. Looks like it just rolled out of the Welt a second time. There are actually good body shops still in existence.

I don't really get any drone to speak of. I eliminate it by not letting the RPMs dip too low when cruising. Heard several people complain about drone with the PE. That has always taken care of it for me.

Edit: will adjust my driving habits to see if the damper makes a difference on its own and let you know what I find out.

You can control it in a manual! DCT in mine, so would need to keep in lower gear but haven't had the need!

DCT here as well. I am always driving in manual with the paddles and just downshift. Who needs 7th gear anyway? lol
