Been there
I've been screwed by fleabay on a number of occasions and your lucky that they took care of this so quickly, I think the shortest resolution I've ever had was 30 days.
That being said, I would side with the seller on this one, they were only unprofessional after being provoked, it was clear to everyone what you were buying, there should be some penalty for making such an obvious mistake, and 25% plus S+H would certainly seem reasonable to me. But like they say, everyone's got an opinion. |

I've ne'er had a bad buying experience like this on eBay ever! The only "negative" experience I've ever had was when I bought an HID kit that I specifically said I needed D2S and the seller sent me D2R. After reading our comments back and forward, he admitted he thought D2R and D2S were the same and returned my money 100% for the inconvenience.
In any case, I felt it was handled well, and never would've thought a seller would be outright insulting. Customer service goes a long way, and he could've got his "20%" if he had just given you some respect. I think all of us eBay users have to remember that if you are the seller, the buyer is still your customer, and you need to treat them like a customer. I am not a hardcore eBay'er, but I do have 59 postiive and 0 negative feedback over the course of 9 years. LoL!
