2010 135i N54 Long crank and severe lack of power 2A19 2A94 2EA1 2FBC 3100 codes
Hi Guys,
I ran into an issue that I just can't seem to resolve. I recently was experiencing an extremely long crank when starting along with a rough idle. I figured it was time to change the HPFP so I changed it along with the crankshaft sensor. The rough idle went away but I still have a long crank which smooths out after a few seconds and the car just isn't exceeding 10 mph. I thought the crankshaft sensor just wasn't seated correctly so I took it out and reseated it just to be sure. Here are the codes I'm getting. 2A19- Tank Ventilation Valve input signal 2A94- Crankshaft sensor 2EA1- Oil Condition sensor, communication 2FBC- Fuel Pressure control valve 3100 I figured these could all be connected to the same fuse (F11) in the schematic attached but for some reason this fuse was never in the fusebox prior to this issue. So just to see what would happen, I inserted a 20A fuse and the car refused to start. Does anyone have any ideas of what the issue could be? Thanks Last edited by Xbrian; 08-10-2020 at 10:07 AM.. The only important code would be the CS position sensor. Try replacing it. You can often ignore some codes, since they aren't always serious.
Also CS sensor wouldn't have a fuse, because the car would never run if it blew! |
