The last tire debate
Lets put opinions into context so we can actually benchmark tire options. This first and foremost requires providing proof, and as proof the only thing I can think of is time slips.
So I'm proposing that we compile a list of, 60' (provide pics) Tire Suspension LSD Trans Here are my (cherry picked) slips from this year so far. Tire: 255/35-18 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 Koni FSD / Eibach Sportline (pn 2150-4036) MFactory Helical 3.46 Auto w/ XHP stg III |

Straight line performance is only a minor aspect of tires though, g force limit and 'feel' up to that point, and after, are possibly more significant to many.

If they have an average of times, better. But G Force (type) data would be best. Just not something most have, and I don't think we can easily view/log the data from the car. So I went with something easy that most all of us do at some point, drag race. |
