Powered seats...worth it?

On both my E34 and E46 the passenger side power seat motor broke. These are a pain to change out. I was able in both cases to buy a whole new seat from a salvage yard and swap it out.

This time I ordered manual seats.

Same thing on my friend's E36 M3.

Hmm... so the rule is that the least used one breaks first...
