ATM Intercoolers - still in business?
Anybody here waiting for their intercooler to show up from christmas time, still?
Initially, they were supposed to be back in stock January 15th (website still says that)...that date came and went due to some unexpected QC issues. Dave was communicative back then stating that the corona virus has affected shipments as apparently all of ATMs intercoolers are made in China (100% made, not just cores). about a month had passed, he communicated that the factory was working again, but didn't want to bother them with deliveries. I waited a few more weeks to ask about possible delivery dates and now I'm not getting any responses. Last email was sent to me on Feb. 20th. I found them on IG and they haven't posted since Black Friday. I don't see any kind of phone number on their website or in emails from Dave. Just looking to gauge if anybody else here is waiting as well and if they've heard anything more recently than myself? 11Mar update: Dave finally got back to me, said it'd be another month possibly (into April) and offered a full refund back, which I got.

I'm been interested in their FMIC as well and have noticed that they haven't had stock since at least july. That's when I first checked out their site and saw that it was out of stock, but expected to be back in stock by August. Ever since then, they've been pushing that date again and again and again.

there was a thread that showed that the ATM cooler seemingly outperformed the Wagner in all aspects except weight (when looking at the competition Wagner), and it was $300 cheaper when looking at standard retail prices.
I talked to Mike at Extreme Powerhouse and got a decent deal on a Wagner Evo Comp II that made it negligible given the performance of the Wagner as well.

If you guys aren't opposed to cutting, my old FMIC is for sale. Performs similarly to the ATM but not as well as the 7.5" race cores that are dominating the market at the moment.
Shameless self plug. I know.

Congrats on your Wagner intercooler If I remember it correctly, it did not outperform the Wagner in all aspects. Wagner is better in weight, temp recovery, pressure airdrop.

This was the thread I was referencing (Hey Mike, you're in there!) that swayed me to ATM initially: https://f30.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1518971 I'm happy with the route I went with the Wagner now, for sure. for the sake of the times right now, I do hope ATM sorts out their supplier and stock as I do believe they've got a good product and I hate to see somebody lose their business due to this virus.

If car 1 is 7 degrees hotter than car 2 but has a lighter intercooler and less pressure airdrop. Car 1 is going to make more power and be faster. ATM has a good intercooler, no one doubts that but I feel this comparison was missing factors that favored Wagner.
