Exclamation Ideal wheel - go custom or wait (possibly in vain)

I haven't been able to properly measure the car yet, but right now it looks like my best bet will be -

19*8.5 et43 all around with a 245/30/19 tire (Advan sports are available in the size)

This is a fairly common size in other makes, but I haven't yet been able to find a 1-piece forged wheel in these dimensions with a 5*120 bolt circle.

This fitment allows me to rotate front to rear, should be doable without fender rolling (camber plates may be necessary upfront) and should keep the car relatively balanced - track width +12mm front, +18mm rear. OD is nearly the same as OEM.

I'm not looking for max performance - this car is 99.99% a street car.

I'd love to get some Volks or forged BBS in this size - anyone know of these or other options?

Assuming you have a 135.

You will rub bad up front with that combo. Yokos are very square sidewalled tires. I have the same wheel setup on my cars front with 235/35/19 Falkens and kind of rub only on hard bumps. Anything else and I think it would rub bad, and mess up your front fenders. I have almost pure flush.

That combo out back should also rub, but I am not 100% sure. I would go with like a 48-50 offset to run those tires.

Yeah, the Advans especially tend to run rather wide. Your car provides a perfect data point, thanks!

From where did you source the Volks?

Thank you. I picked them up on an e46 forum.

The standard front wheel on the 135i is 18" x 7.5" ET49.

If you put an 8.5" ET43 on there you'll have 7mm LESS clearance on the inner side so you may have clearance problems with your suspension etc. The wheel's outer edge will sit 19mm further out than stock and this will probably require fender rolling.
