As for me, I had decided to buy a 330i. I have the Dealer and car picked out, but I told the Dealer that I may switch to the 525i or 530i, and make it a 07 order as that production starts in March. So, I too, am having trouble deciding. I love the 330i, it was soooooo much fun to drive! But, I want some back seat leg room for the times I have an adult or two adults in back, not often, but I do take some road trips where I have Adults in the back seat. So, it is tough! If you spec out the cars the same the 330i is about $7000 to $8000 less than a 525i and about $10,000 to $12,000 less than the 530i. A tough choice, if back seat leg room and comfort was not an issue, the 330i is a no brainer. But, the good new is, they are all BMW's! |

I guess I should add another plus for the E90 is that it is a new design, so it will be fresh longer than the E60, which I believe is due for a MAJOR facelift in model year 2008??? But, then the E90 is rumored to get a new engine next year, so maybe it is wash, but maybe not.

I would suggest the 330, but I'm biased, I love mine. The only thing I would change would be the interior color because gray is bland, but again its just my opinion...

There was an episode of Two and Half Men where the brother bought a Porsche Boxster. They made fun of him the whole episode for buying a girl car. The car was stolen and went on a high-speed chase, and even the news copters were saying "It must be a woman, just look at what they are driving!"

At my university, there are more stupid big-breasted fake-blonde sorority girls driving 325i's than there are guys driving them. And to top it off, most of the roadsters parked on campus are driven by men, from S2000s to Z4s to Miatas to Boxsters - with the sole exception of the SLK population, which is mostly female. Almost all the M3s (and there are ALOT) have male drivers as well. 325s just happen to be the rich girl's Jetta. Nothing like generalizations, of course. |

i think that in your situation you should go for the 330i but if you even want to have some money left over and you are not an agressive driver you might even want to get yourfelf a 325i.

depends on what you need... To me, seems like you don't drive that much with people in the car. I think you should get 330i imo... The other day, i test drove 330i, 525i, 530i.... I would go with 330i... less comfortable than the others but handles better and it kinda feels nice when you have that extra ponies!! I got 325i and i thought i had plenty of power... but 325i don't have enough power.... go with 330I... it'll be the best choice u ever made!!

I went through the same decision. Need more room on a frequent basis - at least once per week - get the 525i. Want better looks, handling and performance - get the 330i. The compromise might be to get the 530i with less options. My choice was to get the 330i because of looks and performance.

So don't be surprised if a Peter and Lois Griffin lookalike couple (with Stewie in the back seat) pull up to you in your four-door "Family Guy" 325i and say hello. Probably an innocuous enough experience, if less enjoyable than a carload of pretty girls. At least be thankful you aren't still in your Ford pickup. If some cowboy pulls up to you and compliments you on your pickup truck, the plot of "Brokeback Mountain" may come to mind. |
