Update, here's the updated exhaust. Berk Street. Kept the Y resonator off the BMW PE, still catless downpipes, took the insert out of the SSQV to make it less obnoxious. Sounds much better for just driving around, way smoother tone, more non turbo M54 exhaust sound, instead of farty turbo noises. PE is gonna be for sale if anyones interested. |

N55's are better than N54 in sound, I have BMW Performance axleback and custom catless downpipe + xpipe. I upload the video here as soon as possible

It is stock right now with the Eisenmann Quads Rear Axleback. VRSF Catless will be installed in the coming weeks. I am also debating switching up my current setup which is VRSF catless, stock mids and the M Performance exhaust. Was trying to source an M Performance Mid to delete the Resonator but might end up being too much because of the catkess downpipe. I am getting a quote to have a single tube midpipe fabricated. just need to decide if it will be non resonated or if I will use the stock M2 Resonator I have laying around.

And it looks to me like you don’t have the bracket that goes from the downpipe to the trans? When I installed my downpipe I couldn’t get my bracket to fit so I left it off. I’m a little worried about that when I get the BMR exhaust, but it looks to me like it won’t be a problem? I feel there are enough hangers on the exhaust to alleviate the weight from pulling on the turbo at the V-band connection. Last edited by 999; 08-12-2018 at 12:22 PM.. Reason: Typos |
