Dinan Stage 2 Exhaust Burbles?

I have a 2013 135i with the Dinan axle-back exhaust and Dinan stage 2 flash and I get absolutely ZERO burbles and pops. I was expecting to be able to hear some burbles but there is literally nothing. I still have the stock resonator, HOWEVER, I get very audible pops when upshifting in the lower gears (DCT) so I’m not sure the resonator is the problem. I should be able to hear something, right? Is the Dinan tune just not burbly at all?

I have the DS2 almost all burbles gone. Had some before which I believe was stock. No exhaust work done either.

Interesting. When you did the Dinan Stage 2, did you flash back to OEM (without the PPK) and then flash the Dinan tune or did you go straight from PPK to Dinan?

The reason I ask, is because when talking with Dinan about switching to a different tuning package, they recommended flashing back to stock before flashing to another tune to “make sure all the changes get applied”. So I’m wondering if the Dinan tune even touches the part of the fuel map that is responsible for burbles and pops? That would explain why I (and others) don’t have any pops going from stock to Dinan but you retained your pops going from PPK to Dinan.

Dinan right on top of PPK2. The 1355is already had PPK2 and performance exhaust stock.

Adding Dinan changed a few things. Different shift changes, increased HP feels like, different throttle maps, and I believe the water pump spins faster the stock.

2013 135is with DS2 and performance exhaust - more than enough burbles for me to be fair… must be the cat back?
