aFe Scoops
Are they really worth it? Im hoping someone who has them on can tell me they do something, or someone can explain how they would truly be worth it. Im considering getting them, but the fact that they block a good portion of the cooling system kind of raises a red flag.

I've had them on for about 2 months now and didn't really notice any difference. Their benefit is mostly at higher speeds so if you don't do a lot of high speed driving I guess they wouldn't do much.
I have an intake which channels air to the filter but without the scoops in there is nothing pushing air into the channel so I felt that having them would be better. If you have a stock airbox which sucks in air I don't see the benefit. I picked mine up cheap so I didn't see any harm if they didn't work :-) |

Simple mechanics would show that at speeds over 45mph, these scoops should help, but not sure here if they would hurt the operation of the radiator behind it....
