Checked last week and nothing yet... apparently they are working on end of year sales... The earliest for press cars I would say is in March in Europe. Not sure when they will arrive in Aust. I don't want to try the other path, as I most likely have to return a favour...

Not really in BMW. The GM at Kloster BMW is the closest thing I have to a connection. He said he'd keep me up to date with any info as they know - including the hush hush stuff. Remains to be seen how true that is.

Should I? Or shouldn't I? Chris Harris' brief drive had me intriqued. Don't have a need for this car, but then I said the same about a GT2 RS. And by the time I realised I realy wanted it, Porsche Australia couldn't get me one, despite trying everthing they could (given I am a regular long time customer). Germany just said no more, sorry. Same thing could happen here...

You definitely live the good life WAY. Just do it, nothing to lose really, besides the cars likely to be worth more than you paid for when you feel it's time to move on a few weeks after delivery!

Chris Harris definitely has me even more excited.

RE: the RS, there was a final red one that was just snapped up. I'm assuming you're the party from Melbourne that was on the hunt. I'm sure, at least one of the ordered cars will be up sale pretty soon.

Is the M3 really up for sale already?

My logic is Wayne, get in the queue, if you like it and it lives up to the not insignificant BMW hype then buy it, else pull out cause if the build numbers are true, and not another marketing ploy, Chris will surely take it and sell it on. Further, if you, me and your mate order one we could have our own litte GB from BM Melb

(imagine the crap you would get from the Tex guys if you ordered one... in Orange.. )

What red one? This must either be a re-sell or a dealer had held on to the stock? PCM certainly didn't have access to it. There are two Melbourne parties hunting for one btw. But we won't pay premium to someone who wants to resell.

As for the M3, yeah, but I'm not sure what to replace it with. Wish RS3 was here already. But we can use the E63 in the mean time.
