I love it! I'm first on my dealer's list for one and will be trading the 335 for one as soon as it's available.

The long teasing of this car has made me lose interest and I picked up an Audi in the mean time. I have been interested in the 1 series before it launched and was going to pull the trigger until the 1 series tii concept came out. Then I held out for that which led to the 1M I am really hoping that the details released today will bring back some interest so I can pull the trigger on this before the end of production.

I'm pretty confident you will enjoy this car much more than your a4, for sports driving.

I really liked my ex's B5 a4 Quattro though! (1.8T, APR tune)

Lol, I still don't know what point you are trying to make, but next time I see a BMW with stupid cosmetic mods I'll be sure to use the word sauerkraut.

I guess I shouldnt make conjecture until the actual stats are in as to if the turbos are the same size and internals are the same.

If so meh, if not then maybe but probably still meh

If people didnt care a about power than why do supercars have 500HP and more?

The area under the curve and power levels are just as important as peak lateral Gs to a fun driving experience.

Also people have different tastes. If a guy wants more power and its easy to make why the hell would you criticism him like that?

Power is fun...Handling is fun...driving in anyway is fun. Get over your bullying act and just have fun.

BUT.. utterly boring to drive.. nowhere near the intimacy of an M car. And, my interior was already falling apart at 9,000km with crappy FNF and bad quality materials.
The current STi has lost some of the raw feel that the 2004-2007 models had which is unfortunate.

I understand. And I normally do not get angry, especially over then internet.

BUT when formula m and this random guy tell me that I don't track my car, and don't understand the relation between torque and horsepower, when they have NO idea WHO I am or WHAT I do, it is extremely frustrating and makes me angry.

I can't help it. I haven't had that problem with anyone else.

Yep, to me a 500whp 1M with 285/35s on the front and 305/35s on the rear with some good summer rubber would be a perfect balance of power, comfort, handling and "badassness".

Yeah I am a big fan of smaller cars. Hence the mk3. I was going to turbo that then I found out about the 1 series about 10 months before launch. The Tii Concept made me hold off thinking that might come out.

Just hoping this thing will be awesome.

ok you've made your point, now please stop ruining the that other people feel about this car

P.S. I love the shape of this car, it looks very much like the z3 ///M coupe, which was too odd shaped for me, but this is muscled in the same way.
