That's correct, no DCT. You'll either have to drive a manual, or learn.

This is the video that BMW should have shown instead of the covered crap that they were pulling all these months... now we are talking, dammit.
Good damn job, BMW. |

I'm impressed! I really like the revised headlights.. and this car comes with a tuned N54 with better cooling and don't forget most importantly LSD and of course wide fenders!! so sick!

Unfortunate the exhaust looks like an after-thought. Could have integrated the pipes better into the rear valence. Also the flairs above the pipes look way out of place.

I like it! Looks better than I thought. Just replace the chrome grills with gloss black (to match the shadowline) and that should take care of the exterior.

I would have gone for optional CF roof rather than alcantara dash.

To an earlier comment, my only reservation is that BMW uses the goodies in this car in the next 1 series, which given the direction BMW is going with styling, will IMO look better (ie, more classic BMW) than the current 1. An example of this is how Ford put the GT500KR stuff into the next gen regular GT500.
Granted, this thing has M3 components, so perhaps the parts are too premium in price to trickle down to regular 1er, but . . . |

To make the car with a CF roof, it would have had to be crash tested again (at least for the U.S.) as no other 1 series model incorporates that roof. Not really something that can be done for a niche vehicle.

Don't they have to crash test it anyways with the new front fascia and wider rear quarter panels?
