Normal Air Intake Temperature
Alright so I was just wondering what it is normally at so that I can compare that to my current AIT.
Last night I did some data logging and it seemed like my AIT was sitting around 105-109. I am just curious as to how much my new FMIC is lowering that number.

Wow so then that is actually a pretty significant drop...good to know. I was actually thinking that the injen would have made it slightly higher.

I'll let others chime in, that's just what I think I've seen in my logs and in others.

You should be looking at temp rise above ambient as well as a handful of other relevent factors. There are a bunch of logs posted in the e90 section with data on IATs for you to get an idea how well your setup is doing.

Aries932,
What is your ambient temp? Im looking to add the fmic. Just to sidetrack alittle bit. How do you find the Injen intake sound after adding JB3? Louder turbo spool and the "pshhhh' sound? |

As how much louder it got. It was a noticable difference. The turbo is really loud now. I am only running at 3 PSI over to preserve the turbo...but you can completely hear it wind up. Funny thing is because I am DCT I only hear the PSSSH sound after I stop accelerating.
