Installed Alpine HID V3s (Pics)
Hi all!
So after waiting about a week after Alex@Alpine's group buy ended, I've received my Alpine HID V3s 8000K on my 2008 128i! I've worked together with jsidhu (he has a 2012 AW BMW 135i) to install and it was relatively easy after watching Alex's instructional video. I would say the 'hardest' part was fitting the bulb into the headlight case. The hubcaps were relatively easy to snap on. It took around 1.5 hours for novices like us! Before jsidhu reached out to me to help install, I had called a few dealerships around the South Bay and they quoted me for 2.5 hours at $125/hr. Ridiculous! Here are pics! Do note that the lights aren't actually THAT blue. They are bright white. Enjoy! Pics! |

Looks awesome! Post some pics from further away! I haven't really seen any pics of the V3 kit at all yet.

Thats the problem I have noticed with those lights... taking pictures makes them look green.
Very bright though. As with any light picture and these forums... you might be getting a request for direct sunlight pictures haha
