I realized I never read the rules (http://www.1addicts.com/forums/annou....php?f=307&a=2) myself, and found out, as long as you have no commercial interest in selling them and you do not post a picture that has the shop's name/link on your nude hairy ass (excuse me if you're a lady), we should be fine!

I agree. I've had the GP's on my cars in the past, they are very popular, but the new Lux are so much better, compact and bright even in direct sunlight. Not $15 though...

Though the LED's (and HID's) certainly look much better in direct sunlight, there have been reports of the lights bothering other drivers during night time driving, considering how bright they can be - some people even mentioned other drivers flashing their headlights to "request the low beams". I'm not sure if this applies to the LED options, but certainly the HID options. You may want to check before making a switch, if you care at all about other drivers...I know many of us do.

Raises hand - that was the case when I was running the Alpine HIDs. Hence why I sold them. Don't think the LUX's are as intense, but HIDs for sure are strong that people think you have your high beams on (especially since the inner rings of our lights are illuminated much more).

4 LED Version

I feel like these should be the best option for price and similar brightness to Lux.

I originally bought the LUX. The gave me an adaptive headlight error. I don't like the idea of having some large ballast floating around in the back of the headlight. I've ran the GP Thunders on 2 of my X5s and this car and I think theyre great. ************.com for the person who wanted to know where I get them.

In my experience GP thunders aren't really visible during the day. LUX are visible during day but aren't bright to the point where people think you're running high beams. LUX are the way to go.

So, has anyone tried these yet? They shouldn't blind on coming traffic because they aren't HIDs and they look WAY better than stock. I can stomach $130 to make the lights look better. Not being as bright during the day as the LUX brand is worth the significant savings in cost to me

I would make sure they dont have an external ballast.

I have the BMS 4led's on my 135. They are a very well made product. ZERO codes, no flicker, and the ballast are very small and there was no problem what so ever installing them. Total install took 15 min. I'm very pleased with them. If you search the Commercial Sales Forum, the AW 135i pictured (shows LED's in diffrent light) is my car. For the price, they are probably the best ones out there...

^Also, there is a side by side comparison of LUX and BMS 4 LED in the Commercial Sales Forum. You cannot tell the diffrence at all between the two.

Here's the box it came in. The stock bulbs are inside in box with the GPs in the background.
