3M Clear Bra install price?

So i got a quote for installing the 3M clear bra on my 1M...1540.00. This price gets me the whole front end, part of the hood and front quarter panels, side mirrors, rocker panels, rear foward quarter panels, and a strip on the rear bumper for the trunk loading area. Also this comes with a 5 year warrenty. Does 1540.00 sound like a good price?

I spent < $1k for the same coverage you've been quoted minus the trunk loading area and rockers for Xpel Ultimate.

I ended up spending more, but it was quality work. I got the entire hood (part of the hood will look odd after a while), whole front fenders, headlights, front bumper, mirrors and behind all the tires. So that doesn't sound bad to me. I was comfortable spending that much because I think it will be worth it in the long run if I ever decide to sell it.

That's too high for just the 3M install. I had tint (Suntek carbon Nano) and 3M done (same coverage as quoted above) for less.

This was done at one of Atlanta's top places. Excellent worksmanship. 3M provides the warranty anyway and a good shop always stands behind their work.

This price is a ripoff.

in Beijing China, i paid 1700 for Xpel set. Entire hood+Front bumper+full fender+ mirror+Side skirt+door handy place+ headlight.....considering the tariff and transportation i think it is good price right?

Seems steep

I couldn't see spending serious $$$$ on Xpel Ultimate for the entire car so I Xpelled my car but did it a little cheaper. I bought the self-healing Ultimate only for the front bumper (3"x7') , mirrors, "A" pillars and complete hood (5'x5' I think). I then bought Xpel Extreme (same as 3M I think in 4'x7' roll) for the door edges, front fenders, rear trunk shelf and behind the rear tires. Finally I got a 13 foot roll of 12" wide Xpel standard for both side skirts.

I think total of all films was a little less than $800 directly from Xpel without any kind of discounts and the graphics shop here in Germany is charging me 300 € or $400 for install so this is costing me $1200 total out the door.

Considering my option for Xpel was to drive either to France or Poland to go to an approved Xpel shop...driving hundreds of miles on the autobahn unprotected....I'm happy with $1200.

What film? My dealer offered me a similar deal for 'Stone-X'.

I found out that the guy rolls up in his 70's pickup truck with a bucket and roll of polyurethane dipped in wax and then charges you $650.

So I said no thanks.

Paid about 650 for 3M clear coat film, with a few custom extra pieces. This is also my 3rd car in 3 years, so they gave me a little discount. I would say that a fair price would be $600-800 for 3M Scotchguard, with no custom work. Price will go up when you start adding pieces (quarter panels, further up the hood etc).

It was done out of state before the car was delivered to me but I think it was 3m.

I had Full hood, FULL Bumper, headlights, and mirror covers, for around 800.

Then had Rocker panels, S curved strips covering the front facing body of the rear fenders, strips on the back 1/3 of the front and rear wheel wells, and angled strips covering the Front facing edges of the quarter panels for about the same.

All I cared about was sand/rock damage. Didn't feel necessary to do the entire quarter panel.

That price isnt bad

WAY too high...you shouldn't be spending more than $800 for that coverage.
