I think they'll "detune" the potbelly look of the sides. If you noticed lately, they flattened out the sides on the new Z4 and I'll bet they do the same with the 1M. The strip tease pics shows the fender area behind the front tire being farther out than the 135i, in other words, it would look funny to bring it inward, then have it flare so much outward for the wide tires. Nice pic.. it's also my desktop!

Thanks Alpine. Though, my money is on the sideskirts being more like the coupe's than the sedan's.

Looks good, but to me there is a problem with the outside edge of the rear tire where it meets the road. The tire profile does not appear square to the road...
