Power sport seats successfully installed
My 135 came with the awful manual comfort seats. After two weeks of searching I found a set of leather seats in mint condition. Only problem is that my car did not have power seats from the factory and electrical work is where I run out of talent. I enlisted the help of a friend who was successful in installing them and getting them wired up so that they have factory functionality.

Congratulations on a successful transplant! lol
Those look great! I have the power sport seats as well and I love them. Very comfortable and supportive. Some people like the manual sport seats better as they sit a little lower in the car. And I'm sure there's a small weight difference but whatever it is it doesn't matter to me. I love the memory function because I am always moving my seat back, and with a press of the button I go right back to my perfect seating position.

The memory function is something I miss. That said I can't imagine sitting higher in the 1er. I have it as low as it'll go.

When I get out of the F80 into the E82, I feel like I am sitting on a horse.

On second thought I guess you could probably keep her around for mundane DD duties and then drive that young filly when you want some real driving excitement.

Not sure what to do with the car at this point, will decide after this winter, but I sure feel pretty bad using it for the two-mile commutes and boring errands around town. In the past, when the E91 was still around, the 135i would sit in the garage for weeks if there was no time to go for a joy ride or it was raining/snowing. So not sure what's worse - using the ex-garage queen as a daily bitch or not driving it for a long period times just to save it for Sunday drives on local good roads... which there are none in the area so what even is the point of having such vehicles
