It would be on a larger course. 1M is better at hand to hand trench warfare. The other cars are better in open fields. More power, better aerodynamics and more refined suspensions.

as has been pointed out, the M2 shows it's advantage on a longer course.

having said that, I tried a friend's M2 recently.

Excellent car, and as everyone else has pointed out, more refined than the 1M, much nicer interior, much more composed rear end. the best //M car BMW currently make.

it's objectively the better car than the 1M.

that doesn't make it the more desirable car, as you factor in character/personality, and all that.

Make no mistake, if i could justify the purchase, i wouldn't mind having an M2 to keep my 1M company at all
