I run a simple stage1 JB4 on top of PPK, I get wheel spin due to excess power even in second gear (Conti sport tyres).
So how do you guys with all these wonderful power mods avoid this?

What map are you running? I'm assuming map 5?

I found the Michelin PSS puts down the power

I meant Map1.
I didn't realise Michelin PSS had that much over Conti CS5's?

Lol plenty of folks in Aus with RB turbo's and a couple top mounts. I doubt I'd be in the top 10 on regular 98. Maybe if I start adding some corn juice.

Hmm that's interesting, I've never had any traction issues on map 1 and map 1 feels extremely slow compared to map 5!

Can't say much about the comparison as I've never tried the Conti CS5s

R888s.
Before that I would wheelspin all the way through third on AD08Rs, which was fun but not effective.

Doesn't JB4 have lower boost limit in 1st and 2nd gear?

I had the same issue with the procede and MPSS. I wrote about it before, start in 2nd. Or be learn how much you can put down in 1st and 2nd then nail in 3rd. When i came from runflats to MPSS, night and day difference in terms of traction.

I have 275 Michelin PSS and have my 1st gear capped to 8psi and 2nd gear capped to 12psi and I still get no traction.

PSS's are only good for circuits once they reach their desired heat.

I'm gonna try Nitto NT05's next. Don't care about wet weather traction.

I am running full bolt on and meth with Vargas intakes and RB's and last Dyno was 397kw (532hp). The car had developed the old misfire issue and wouldn't rev past 6200rpm. New MOTIV clutch is now in which will hopefully resolve the misfire and the MOTIV stage 2 Port Injection kit is at the shop waiting for install as soon as the clutch is bedded in. Quietly confident we will break 400rwkw this time.

Touching 22psi. May go to 23 as the turbos seem happy and the inlets have made a massive difference to the setup.
