2004 e87 116i front wiper not working

Hey, first post here, but I'm at a loss with what could be preventing my front wipers from working.

Randomly stopped, on the way to its mot of all things, and refuses to work now.

I was advised it was likely the stork, which I changed. I then checked the relay and replaced that also... it still doesn't work.

Today I went and got a new front wiper motor, before installing I plugged it in and still nothing.

I've checked with the old beep setting on my multi meter, the old and new motor show continuity (not sure if I butchered that spelling) the cable that plugs into the wiper motor also beeps. I can't see any tears in the cable, but am I missing a ground somewhere, or something tiny.

Has anyone had this problem, and if so how did you fix it. I need the wipers to work to get through this damn MOT 😂.

Only thing I haven't tried is the fuses, but solely because they don't list the wiper fuses for the front specifically. They do list some on the washer fuses, those I've checked which are fine.

The stalk does the screen wash, the rear, but just nothing for the front. Shows power for the auto wiper but doesn't engage it.

I've checked the faults on the obd but nothing.

Please help
