UK Owners Forum - Introductions
Hi to all UK forum users, I thought it was time that we started to get the UK Regional thread moving...all UK owners or those who have ordered say hello here!!!

hi guys, im in the south west. havent ordered yet but am looking through the brouchures at a 123d msport. cant decide what colour! will post if/when its ordered.
how long for delivery should i expect? |

Hello to all UK forum users.
Ordered 135i Sedona Red last November, got most of the desirable options - delivery 1st March. Can't wait. Hope the tuners get to work in the UK, I think I need the full-fat 380+ bhp experience. Test drove a 135i and was very impressed. More refined than the M3 and felt alot faster in the mid range, but top end power still goes to the E46 M3, in my opinion. Hi All. Test drove both 135i and 335i yesterday - both manual, 335i in SE guise unfortunately. I'm looking for a car to replace a very rapid "original" B5 Audi RS4 that's been fettled up to 450bhp, but is racking up the miles. 335i didn't do anything for me, but fell in love with the 135i - really together little car. Waiting on news of how much of the BMW Performance kit can be factory fitted - I really don't want to pay for two sets of wheels, two lots of interior trim etc.!

Hi Guys, new to this forum posting lark but just got delivery this morning of my 123d coupe. Very happy I am too!
Spec:123d M-Sport coupe, Black Sapphire, 261 18” alloys, USB audio, Cruise, darkened glass, auto lights (because I don’t know when its dark). Would have liked the xenons and the leather but I’m a cheap skate. Will try and get running-in over as quick as possible and see what its really like. Looks stunning though. :thumbup: |

Nearly Run In
Hi, I ordered on 10th of November (two weeks before launch) and it arrived 8th January (the snow held it up - could have got it on 5th Jan otherwise). Its only 9 miles to go now until its through the run in.:smile:. Its a 123d se. The garage did a deal with another one to get a production slot week beginning 10th Dec.

I put my request in to the company at the end of Oct without really even seeing the car bar a couple of crappy pics online...
I had to make a quick decision otherwise i would loose the perk of having a car.. ... So had to decide between a Golf 2.0 GT TDI SPORT 170, Audi A3 2.0 TDI Sport 170 -which i took both out for 2 day test drives and this BMW coupe thing i had not sat in... !!! So really hoping i made a good choice.. i guess i wont know till it arrives.. Chose the Beemer blind for a few reasons really... 1 Never had one, plus company maintain it so no large expenses 2 Its a brand new model 3 Never had a RWD car before 4 Golf interior was a bit tacky 5 both alternative due for new shapes later this year.. plus how many A3/Golf are on the road In the end just thought sod it.... and went for it.... I would of had the white as it looks stunning if i could order again now if i was honest i guess .... but im pretty sure they didnt have that option back then for some reason ??? Sure further colours were added after i finalised and the car went on official release..???? So other little bit crappy thing only 120's on my company car list with SE being the best spec on offer. Shame really as wanted the 123 when reading up.... So snap decision was for ... 120d SE Black Sapphire Metallic Paint 17" Star spoke light alloy wheels style 262 Voice controlBMW Business radio with single CD player Bluetooth Telephone preparation Elektra cloth - Anthracite Elektra cloth upholstery Model designation deletion Titanium light interior trim Have a date of May for it now after a company cock up !!!! rubbish ... currently driving a 307 1.6 hire car until it arrives... please have pity on me... if you see a 307 with what looks like no one driving then its me... Since ordering i have seen only seen a single 1 series coupe on the road... for a split second in a traffic jam... I do 30-40k a year and get around alot ... really surprised as i have been keeping my eye out ... So fingers crossed it is brilliant .. .cant wait... |

Hey guys, I'm a Londoner and I've recently ordered a Sedona Red 135i with pretty much all the extras (and a terminal shot to my bank account - can you believe the prices the Americans are paying...jealous) which I've postponed delivery to May as I'm not around Mar/Apr.
Only just discovered this thread - glad to see some other Brits on here! |

Nice one snake...welcome...I have been reading this forum for last couple months and have been trying to find other UK drivers and have only just found this post...so happy
There are hardly any 135is in the UK yet are there?! Have any of you seen one....obviously a few of you have got your yet but they seem rare I suppose the american pricing is so cheap compared to ours due to the fact that if it was not that cheap no one would buy one. Also what is crazy a few of the americans are saying it is really expensive. They are very lucky with their pricing Cannot wait for mine just a couple weeks |

Hi guys, been on the forum for a while and thought I had already posted!
My order is in as described below... gutted though as I am now being told that it won't be with me until 28th May, but will get confirmation if it's then or sooner. Annoying as I will be in a hire car from 13th April until it arrives as my S2000 lease expires then and I have already sold it  PAINFUL wait!

Spare a thought for me whilst in your hire car moff...I'm driving a Micra till my car arrives! Aw but I love the little thing, took me through my student days
Looks like a few of us will be getting our deliveries in May (which leaves me just enough time to sell my kidney for big bucks) and no UK135i, I haven't seen any on the road at all. Weird. |

I will be in a Vectra or Pissat urrrgghhh... Nevermind, I am sure it will make me appreciate the 135 when it arrives! I am also going to steal my wife's 335d at EVERY possible opportunity. My local dealer - Sytner Nottingham has just sold their loaded black demo, so I might see that on the road. Seen a couple of 120d Coupes, but no 135i's. I only managed to get a 30min test drive prior to buying, but my dealer has promised to let me keep the car overnight when they get there next demo in which will be nice!

Just a quick hello, got my 1 coupe M sport on order, estimated delivery mid April at the moment, so will be posting the pics when it arrives...
Lets just say "Advevo" in Holland gave me inspiration for his beautiful white shark (see official white coupe pics thread) just hope mine looks close!! also see www.marknauta.nl :w00t: I think his has been lowered further.. My car on order... 120d M sport Alpine white 18" Alloys 261M Sun protection glass Bluetooth Cruise control Xenons Brushed interior trim (nco) Just wondered what colours you people have been ordering??? The dealer told me the usual black, silver and le mans blue seem to be the most popular... maybe we could do a poll..? |
