Hi Robin

Cheers mate,the mk2 escort has an 1800 Zetec running throttle bodies,unsure of the management,has all sorts of upgrades done to herthese were before my time really,think they look really cool all the same,been into Mitsubishi Evo's myself for the last 10 years doing sprints,hill climbs and trackdays,now there getting on,I'm trying the 1M.My car is lowered on H&R springs with a lightweight front splitter from Marc,must say,very good product and a very helpfull guy I'll get some better pics up soon,all the best for 2013 guyshopefully meet some of you along the way

Dental Floss works extremely well when removing the old spoiler and I used Genkem General Purpose Glue Remover instead of Goo Gone, which we don't get this side.
The link advocates using 3M Tape to fit the CF spoiler but I used Betalink. It is alot more difficult than the double sided tape but I believe the fit is better and worth the extra effort.
If done right the glue doesn't allow any moisture to collect between the Spoiler and the Boot.
I saw a few guys mention that their spoilers have some movement in the centre section however with the Betalink my spoiler seems to be very ridgid, I believe its because the better bond afforded by the Betalink.

+1. Did the same with betalink, couldn't efford any risk because of a less than perfect solution. Having said that betalink by nature is a "permanent" solution, and when (if) you want to remove it you will probably break something in order to do it. For some it may be something to consider as well.
