Wink Two E90's ordered

Hello fellow E90 lovers! First time posting so bear with me if I don't get the lingo right.

Ordered my 325i a couple weeks ago but after reading several threads decided to add RA and Sirius Radio. Contacted my sales rep to add the new options and after couple hours he called me back stating the car was now in production and BMW would not allow any changes. He went on to say he took it upon himself and reorderd the car with exactly what I wanted and still with the same delivery date as the first car. WOW! So here I am now, tracking two vehicles. He says he is going to roll the first order back into inventory.

I saw him today and he jokingly stated "What is he going to do with the first E90?". Well, maybe someone on this site could use an additional E90 325! with Black/Black/Aluminum, Stick, ZSP, PDC and folding Rear seats. Car is due in Miami first week of January.

All e90s can be remotely accessed with the key fob. The Comfort Access allows you to access it by touching the door handles.

No I have heard of remote access. The dealership supplies you with an RC Remote control which has a 2' LCD screen. The LCD screen feed is provided from a camera mounted on the front bumper. Thus you can control your E90 using the RC Remote Access. BMW is more advanced then any other car company! :rocks:

I probably wouldn't mind two but I already have another BMW, 525!. Although if my daughter was to find out she would insist I buy both, one for her of course!

I wish, the second is E39, which you have to let the wife drive. E90 is my toy!

I am not buying both, the dealer will put the first car in their inventory. Just that the dealers don't normally reorder but I guess this is the second time I am ordering from him so he went the extra mile.

The first car is up for purchase from the dealer or can be redirected to another dealer I am sure.

When I was waiting for my 325xi my dealer joked that if I wanted to reorder with other options he was okay with that...October xi models were quite rare in these parts and he could have sold it in a flash...

just because you placed an order, does not mean you cannot change your mind. You can change your mind once and the dealer should not have any trouble meeting your second request. They just have your first request as inventory. If you change your mind the second time, you will run into problem (I am pretty sure).

Interesting that you're able to get the same delivery date and your specs are kind of unusual with FDS and PDC. And for 1st week of Jan, it had to be on a ship by now. Usually 4-5 weeks for delivery on the East Coast after the car is completed.

He must have found one enroute already. Consider yourself very lucky.

They both showed they went through production on the 49th week. What's unusual is that they are on different ships. One left five before the other yet they sill show arriving at the dealer the same time.
