Locals with JB3 that want 2.0 chips?

Let me know I am in Glendale and I have a limited amount right now. You can come pick up if you like. paypal or cash $20. You will also want the USB cable which is $35. I can also ship to you if you like. Chips ship free and the cables are $5 for shipping. I have a thread about this in the commercial section if you want more details.

Just curious, but what kind of USB cable costs $35 dollars?

THe kind you need. There are a lot of cables that cost 5-10 and then there are those that cost over 20. If you have an issue with the price contact BMS about it. I didnt set the price and it is not a standard USB cable. Thanks.

also ones like this cable cost even more but still wont work since it is too short to really work properly.

wow cool, so does this cable allows you to upload a new program from your laptop into the chip while it's still inside the JB3 board?

Absolutely you can get the chip alone. You just wont be able to do any tuning. You can pop in the chip and go.

Yes you can do all future firmware updates with the cable.

You dont have to have the cable but if you want the ability to do tuning adjustments and future downloads of modified firmware then you need it. Again tere are cheap USB/Serial cables out there but they wont work according to Terry and could damage the JB3.

If you guys want to do a pick up of the chip let me know. I am in Glendale.
