VTT N54 inlets + BMS Backend flash tune Dyno Difference
I had a dyno run last month to kind of see where my car was (sans backend flash or VTT inlets) and was happy with the numbers. However My goal was 400+ wHP and wTq, so I knew I needed more. VTT tubes were on order and I began the rabbit hole dive into flash tuning the N54 motor!
A note on the flash tune: save yourself a lot of hassle and troubleshooting, get a pre-approved K+DCAN cable and MHD tuner, seriously, it just works! Once all was installed and setup the car drove so crazy different I had to see the numbers and hello sally! I'm really close to my target and currently waiting on a custom map/tune for my car/setup (stay tuned) which should bring me over the line. Overall I'm really happy with my car's abilities and doing all this without Meth and running just pure 93OCT pump gas was my #1 objective. All in all, she's my favorite car I've ever owned, I would even pick this car over my beloved MK4 R32 (which is heresy IMO). Happy Monday.
