Win a 135i ...

https://www.yktv.co/

Could be a scam, could be a bold move of a guy willing to bet his car on a new company. I don't know which. Both are something I wouldn't be willing to do.

I really can't find anything saying this place is known by more than a few hundred people. So I can see the giveaway as trying really hard to get more attention.

I'll probably take the 3x5 mail in route. There really is no value in my identity left.

This is the new type of thing going on, or rather has been developing over the last couple years.

All these raffles where you buy tickets or their product and they enter you in it. There's a local guy that won a Supra from 80eighty like that but it's extremely unlikely, lottery for cars. I can't even imagine the profit margins that this brings up, they don't sell the car unless they reach a point where they're making money so it doesn't matter that he's using it for that. I follow this guy that does it with 90s Honda's and once you add stuff up he's selling 4K cars for over 15k

You can also enter via hand written card, that's what OP was referencing with the 3x5.

Its been happening in the firearms side of addictions also. Spend $50 on a "seat" and have a 1/25 chance to win a $600 pistol. The host banks $150+ and someone walks away feeling lucky.

I'm willing to entertain risk/reward scenarios but those odds are worse than a casino.

I see individuals trying this a lot (unsuccessfully) because they can't sell their modded car for what they paid with the mods lol

here's how it usually goes
seller: "hey internet, my car is for sale. buy it now for $30k!"
the internet: "no that's way too much, it's only worth $15k"
seller: ....... "who would be interested in a raffle ticket to win my car?"

I think the issue is a lot of people try to replicate this without the massive following thats needed for it. For example guys like 80eighty sell shirts and stuff like that and people can buy that and not care if they get the car or not but I'm not going to just randomly send 50 bucks to some dude on Instagram and sit there hoping. I still think its stupid and whenever i see someone with a shirt from them like this girl in college, I know they've spent way too much falling for that game

Theres a recent one going on with an e46 330

Step 1: Buy item to enter raffle on the last day to enter raffle...
Step 2. Return item if raffle is not a winning raffle...
Step 3. Disregard all...if returns are not accepted for items bought to enter raffle...
Step 4. Don't read steps 1-3 and just collect 200 when you pass "Go"!
