Oldsport's Modifications/Refresh Photos
Hello again y'all. I've had my car for going on almost 3 years. I've lurked years on this forum and learned a lot about the car and what I wanted to get done, even when I wasn't posting or commenting. I spent too much time reading up on fitments or different DIYs. I had always wanted to make some simple modifications, but it was about when it was right and things finally panned out this summer. With the help of my brother (328i), we finally got some things done. I have just crossed 80k miles from when I bought it around 50k miles and it feels brand new.
Some of the modifications were a pain in the a** due to wrong parts being sent (wrong bumper pieces, no fog light mounting, mismatched control arms, wheel with a gash in the lip, backordered, etc.), but it has come together. 2009 Jet Black, 6-Speed
Where it is at now: Where it all started: What happened in between? Refreshed Items (All OEM or Equivalent)

Wheels I had been waiting a while to get wheels, especially wheels that fit our fitments. I went back and forth between a lot of wheels and wanted something that was not too over the top. I somehow came across these in the right* fitment. OZ Superleggera III

Beautiful setup! Did the Konis come in a kit? Do you have a link for it? I want a set of springs and shocks to give my car some added performance in the corners.

Really nice looking.
Is that some sort of protective film on the bumper and nose in the pic at the gas station?

Yes! The rubber on the original panels all fell off and the door guards weren't really guarding anything lol. |

I had a mishap with a 3-stage intake I bought, which ended up having faulty valves, so I am waiting to get that sorted out. In a twisted turn of events, not only did my front bumper get scratched when it was parked and backed into, but I arrived to my 1er finding a chip in the back bumper's paint. For 2 years nothing happened, but now once I paint and fix it attracts the negative lol.
