Bentley Publishers

Can everyone take a moment out of thier busy day and go to the Bentley Publishers web site and request that they create and release a Bentley Service Manual for the 1 Series. After having had them for my E28, E30's and E46's I'm really at a loss without one for the E82.

Can't you get a wiring diagram at BMW TIS website? Where you have to subscrive for a month to be able to log in. ???

I just ordered the Bentley BMW 3 Series (E90, E91, E92, E93) Service Manual to use with my 135. The 335's suspension, engine, and trans are the same as the 135 so hopefully it'll cover most of my needs. I'll post a review once I use it.

Please do. If there is enough information in common to keep you out of trouble - like spending 20 minutes looking for that last connector way up out of sight only to fond out it really doesn't exist on the E82...

Then I might just have to get me one too....

Here is the site I was talking about...

http://www.bmwtis.com/

You MUST pay to use it.

Subscription Rates:
1-Day (24 hour) Subscription: $30
1-Month (30-days) Subscription: $250
1-Year Subscription: $2500

As you can see it is a bit pricey... but I am sure you can find what you need there. I had also thought about buying a 3er manaul until Bentley see's fit to sell one for our 1-er's.

Just posted a request for the manual. I had one for my 330i, and it was excellent.

Anyone get a reply from them?

Earlier I had gotten a 'sorry there are no plans for a BMW 1 Series Manual'.

Done. Had a Bentley for my Carrera and SC and it was indispensable...

Here's hoping...

Bringing a thread back from the dead, I too just put in a request to add this manual. I'll be lost without a Bentley manual to accompany my newly-acquired E82!

BWAHAHAHA - I just put in my request yesterday and this is the response I got this morning:

Thank you for contacting Bentley Publishers, re BMW 1 series repair manual.

This project is on our list, but I do not have it scheduled at the moment. Please check back often for future product. Your input is very helpful to us.

Regards,

-Charlie Burke

Goob job guys, it should just be a matter of time before we can purchase a Bentley Service Manual for our 1s.

Done...last yr and still waiting:

Thanks so much for your input. We would love to do a e82/e88 manual and it is on the list. Great car, btw.

Can't give a time fame, but want to thank you for taking the time to write.

Regards,

Charlie Burke
