For anyone interested in coming down to Illesheim for the car parts and beer shenanigans feel free. After parts are installed and some gas is burned testing everything and tearing down the back country roads, there is a nice little restaurant just outside of my base and the beer is on me.

little side note: there are A LOT of mustangs in my area and the last time I wa helping my friend with his M3 there was a guy installing flowmaster exhaust (the most useless exhaust) on his new 5.0 and was talking s**t about the M3. So needless to say there are plenty of opportunities to hurt some feelings while you are here.
Sounds like fun. Would love to watch a Mustang owner with his tail between his legs after an M3 tears him up. I will have to keep that in mind.

Be careful, those new 5.0's with minor bolt ons are monsters. my friend had intake and an axle back, no tune and he jumped me but we were on the autobahn so I passed him in 4th gear not to mention that I was on map 7.

+3 on that. Retirement and a GS job definetly make up for it though.

yeah thats what I was thinking, plus that would be smaller and easier to work with than a full size laptop.

well i have to get microsoft office for my college stuff so it might work with that cause if you open JB4 logs without actually having the JB firmware open they come up as excel sheets.

The only thing about bootcamp (at least when I ran it almost 2 years ago) was that it made boot up a minor pain because you had to hold down the Command key to get to the boot menu. Otherwise it booted to Windows7 automatically every time. It wasn't a huge deal but was one of those nagging little issues that annoys me. A friend eventually gave me a copy of VMWare for the Mac so I have an XP virtual machine that I run when I need it.

yeah the only thing is you don't want to leave a computer sitting forever in really hot or cold temps so i would have to take it out but could work for storage while driving and not logging.
