Exhaust tips come in today, ordered vinyl, VRSF charge pipe, headlights, and finally bought Carly since I'm dumb and couldn't work the coding applications from my laptop lol

SAME. Especially on what will soon be a yellow car. They should be in next week so I'll be able to let everyone know if they work or not. I obviously expect some things not to like ADH which is not a big deal for me

- passenger side leaks water, only really forms condensation if I wash the car. I leave the cap on the back open on one side to let them breath (I put the OEM breathers on but they couldn't keep up with the amount of moisture). With the cap open it never forms condensation. - passenger side clear coat failed, a quick sand/polish/new clear/more polishing fixed that up - driver side one of the metal clips that hold the cap on, the plastic it goes into broke so I only got 1 clip on that side - driver's side one of the mounting points broke off on top, although I suspect this is with how I installed them, the clip had some tension on it They're exactly what you'd expect from eBay lights though, break easily but they work fantastic and look awesome. You get what you pay for. After coding and error cancellors they work like OEM. Angel eyes are my DRLs. Had to rewire them cuz the shop that installed them for my friend ran power and ground on the frame rail next to the headers, not comforting. I upped the wire gauge then ran them around the coolant reservoir in a heat resistant tube to the positive/negative posts by the DME. - my honest review |

The Osram Rallye's have held up quite well. The main beams I've had since shortly after I bought the car in '13 and I'm at 38k+ miles atm. Added another pair for the high beams when I got the Euro halogens. Sadly, the Rallye's are NLA. Danielsternlighting claims to be working on a replacement, but I've seen no updates almost a year. The scuff buffed out easily. $250 plus shipping and tax.

Went to another track day, this time at Summit Point's Shenandoah Circuit with SCCA WDCR. Shenandoah is an awesome track, FWIW. Got two dry sessions and two sessions of POURING rain, which was so much fun, and offered a lot of insight into how the car behaves, and it was far less abusive on the car. I also got to hop on the skid pad a few times (possibly the highlight of my day, it was SO much fun). Still rocking the open diff, but it worked fine with the minimal traction available. Tomorrow, I should be able to start going fast (it'll finally be dry, and most people will have learned the track)...
Had an interesting thing happen to my brakes today...my outer bleed screw on the front passenger side caliper came a bit loose, and I started losing brake fluid, and brake pressure (the pedal didn't ever stop moving). Not a great feeling. Luckily, my instructor had an 11mm wrench to snug it down to finish the day. Took it home tonight and bled that caliper, but there was no air in the line. Since I got home so early, I got the finishing touches done on the LSD build. Both output flanges are in, the backlash is set (to PERFECTION!), and I checked the mesh of the gears (marking compound is like anti-seize, it gets frickin' everywhere). All I have to do now is put on the sealant, put the cover on, fill it up, and bolt it onto the car. It's going to be an absolute beast with the 3.73 ratio, and will finally be able to get every bit of power to the ground.
