Closing Door issues

Has anyone else notcied that sometimes the door wont close? I had this happen to me, it wouldnt close no matter how hard i tried slamming it!!

I then stared playing around with the inner latch on the door and then it finally closed properly.

Im not sure if this is a known problem or not. Anyone else seen this, or heard of door problems?

i dont want to take it to the dealer because it seems ok now. I hate taking it in to the dealer if the problem isnt face first.

Could be a faulty latch, with any luck it should be a simple fix.:iono:

Should the door finally give up the ghost you'll be driving to the dealer with an open door, that might be a tad un-nerving.

Ya. It is not good. i just tried opening and closing it about 30 times in a row.. seems to be ok now. I will not take it in unless i can reproduce it. The last thing i want is them opening it up and then saying nothing is wrong. Because they can never install it back in factory condition

Check the distance your window drops when you open the door. If the window doesnt go down far enough, you have a really hard time closing the door.

that happened to me before. it was very annoying because i was in a hurry also.

so i turned off my car, locked the door while my door is still open and the windows didn't go down at all. i closed my door, make this terrible sound and wont close. i tried to unlock the door, didn't work. tried to roll down the window, didn't work. i was trying everything for 3 minutes (which seemed like forever), nothign worked. then i was just playing around with the lock and unlock button then it finally unlock the latch on the door and closed.

ever since then, it never happened again.
