I think my car will be on the same boat, Chewyjr15. Mine is due for production complete about the 9th according to the recording.
I try not to think about it, but yes, the wait is killing me too.

mine is also due for production to be completed on jan 12
i'm on the east coast though. not sure what that means as far as arrival times and such. the wait is certainly painful.

ughh the wait is killing me we had a family get together today and everyone was like where your car you said you got a new car and i had to explain it was on order. None of them understood why i didnt just buy one off the lot they all said automatics are better i told them to shove it! In a nice way of course because they are my family.

Just called the 800 number and it told me production was completed and the car is awaiting release to carrier. I guess I have a 3 1/2 week boat trip to wait for now, gah!

Mine finished production on Dec 18th and still isn't on boat! But I don't care, I don't want to take delivery until the snow melts anyway. I had to order it early to lock in the better lease rates.

"Your vehicle is at the port awaiting a shipping vessel" since Jan 12th
and then the customer rep told it would wait a week max for it to be loaded on a ship...I kind of don't believe him when some people here have waiting since December 12th... |

its amazing to me that they can build a car in 4 days but it takes this long for it to be boarded. It really is not that i am complaining but Monday will be almost 10 weeks since i ordered the car and i have another 4 to go and that assuming it gets an a bloody boat in the next 3 days. It has been sitting there for three days and still needs to take the train ride to the port of exit. Atleast i think so if i am understanding the woman correclty it is waiting to be released to the carrier. So does this mean it is waiting for hte train, or for a vessal?
thanks just ranting! Joey |
