new 135 owner with a couple questions here

I just bought a 09 135m. it is pre-wired for the alarm and satallite radio ready. my question is, since they are pre-wired in, all I have to do is have the dealer turn them on with their programmer correct?

Noop. You need the alarm kit first(~$300). Then the dealer has to code it in order for it to work - $$.

Depends,

My car is pre-wired/ready for the satellite radio so I called my dealer up thinking the same thing as you and it turned out I needed to purchase some additional piece to be installed costing an additional couple hundred dollars. It was a huge disappointment.

I would just call up your dealer with your vin and they can tell you what you need to do.

oh ok thanks for the quick responses. so basiclly the car is all wired with the antenna and would just need the sat receiver?

From what I understand (and have been told by one of their service techs at my local dealership), you are right on the money. Cost seems to be a bit outrageous for the receiver and labor. My 2010 128 has the same setup. Hope this helps.

That's what I did. Got an XM Sportscaster. It's a real basic unit but it's really small and the display matches the dash. Mounted it right under my Vert buttons.

It's nice to have it intergrated like I had in my previous cars but it's not worth close to $1,000 for the gear and install.
