Performance Wheels with new Performance Center Caps on Montego Blue
I have had the Performance Wheels for awhile waiting for the back order on the Dunlop Z1 Star Specs in 255, but the last track day officially killed the Run-Flats so I had to get a set of tires ASAP just to drive the car. I picked the Nitto INVOs after reading a lot of good reviews. I have to say, so far I really like them a lot. I will still be getting the Z1s, but will now mount them on the OEM rims once I get them Powder Coated black...they should look great for the track.
You can see the difference between the OEM normal center cap, and the OEM Performance center caps. The new ones look a ton better with this wheel!!! You can also see what the track can do to the expensive to replace Run-Flats... I had planned to keep them for trips, etc but now I will be caring a can of fix a flat, airpump, and AAA. Tires are 255/35-18 rear and 225/40-18 front with no rubbing on my H&R Sport Springs. FYI..Sorry, pics are cell phone so not the best yet.

Looks AWESOME though I can't wait to see it with the powder coated rims. I would like some new rims but the stocks are so easy to clean that I now hesitate to get anything else, though I had thought about powder ciating but not sure where I'd even begin to get such a thing done (or would trust it to be done right) here while stationed in Italy. I had looked at the INVOs also and would love to see what you think after you've had them on the road a while in dry and wet. Do you notice the difference in size in terms of speedo reading, braking, ride, etc? Looks great!!

It was my 4th track day event in the car, but the other three it was either raining or the track was slightly wet. I have to say the runflats performed awesome! I was very surprised in both wet and dry performance. This last day was like 85 degrees and was by far the hardest I have been on the car, total that day was about 160 miles of abuse at PIR in Auburn (Seattle). I temped the brakes at over 700 degrees after one session (smoking hard, had to drive around about 10 miles to cool them, all my drill holes were plugged with brake pad) and the tires were like glue...I could just peel off chunks if I wanted. I am anxious to see how this car does now with real tires.

Nope but it is the only place I can get a jack under the car....a few dirty looks from neighboors, but most love to see the mods.

Yes, they are the same size and offset as the stock wheels. 225 and 255 will be the largest sizes you can mount on them.

Love the look of the performance wheels, especially on Montego Blue! I would just hate cleaning them.

Great comparison and close up shots. The performance wheel is sharp.

Yep, this is my next purchase...I just need to make sure it is still lower than a fist height...that is all the room I have.
