Best deal so far $99 over invoice
So one of the dealers I had ordered a car from screwed up and I ended up getting the car elsewhere. Now they are trying to sell me the car at $99 over invoice which isnt that much of a deal over what I got at the other dealership.
Either way I already have my car so if anyone wants a build like the one in my sig let me know. They emailed me offering 99 over invoice, Im just waiting on their reply of total price. |

The economy is rough. Even though the 1-series is a hot item dealers ARE working on the price more than most people think.
I didn't get $99 over invoice (which is pretty insane), but did get more than many (most?) here.

yeah, i got 500 over as well. the car is hot, but the economy is crap. Only the 7 and 6 people can actually afford not to downgrade their transportation in this economic climate

I got 1K under MSRP on top of the ED 7% discount. Also used the old prices. Next week maybe better, maybe not. They are going to start throwing around zero interest loans pretty soon and if the Fed drops another 1/4 point, refi's from people who got great fixed mortgages in 2003 are going to create cash flow for cars. It's cyclical.

dang, the deals on the east and west coast blow away anything that can be had in texas. You can't get $100 below MSRP here, much less try to get $100 or $500 above invoice.
No chance in hell coming close to these CA prices. I guess b/c CA has so many dealerships in a close area compared to spread out texas. Texas blows for buying cars. Strange b/c most everything else is cheaper in TX (cost of living, etc) |

The weakness in the dollar is the direct result in the Fed's inflationary policy, but the Fed is so afraid of aggravating the foreclosure crisis that they're unlikely to tighten anytime soon... inflation be damned.
