price thoughts? 2011 CPO
Looking at full stacked (nav, Msport Etc) CPO 2011 135i with 28K miles. I'm at $31500 plus TTL. Thoughts on price? I've been looking for a while and just sold my car, so need something quick. Just want to feel better about spending that much cash.

I'm looking north east. I see tx cars are cheaper but don't see any that meet my needs anywhere online.I've talked to three dealers on different cars. Haven't got one below $31500. Even giving best and final $500 cheaper they are willing to let me walk. (Ive tried and they did)
Need CPO 2011. Fully loaded with heated seats, Nav, msport |

Doesn't sound bad to me. I paid a bit more for a similar car. Here in MA the prices weren't close to what I was seeing people pay in these forums from others parts of the country.

That car would not have happened to be LeMans blue and in New Hampshire would it? My dealer was talking with another customer about the car I bought and he was in wisconsin too... he specifically mentioned that the customer would not budge on $400.

Yes they did. Worked out great for me. There was actually another lady who came in to purchase the car while I was signing the paperwork. She had test driven it the day before and wanted to think about it.

Sounds like buying from an out of area dealer isn't an option?
I bought a similar car recently - no nav though and 32K miles for 30,500 + TTL. I did get the extended maintenance included at that price. What you were looking at wasn't too far out of line if you ask me. You may consider purchasing from an area where prices are a little lower. I did that and was very hesitant about it but it was a great experience. I searched bmwusa.com and to find the car I wanted or as close to it as I could and then negotiated over the phone. I just wasn't going to find one locally so that was really the only option. I was leery of purchasing it unseen but it worked out great. There were two small dings that I discovered, sent pics to the dealer and they agreed to pay to fix them. The total cost to fix them was $120 so we aren't talking about a lot of money but it was a no questions asked kind of thing. I was impressed with the process. I purchased from United BMW in the Atlanta area and the salesman said they sell 300 used BMW's a month and 100 of them are shipped out of state....I have no idea if that's accurate but they certainly had the process down. $245 so ship it to me, ~ 250 miles A local dealer had a very similar car (different color) with 22K miles and they were asking $34,900 for it. That was crazy high and they would not take $31,500 for it.... Try to negotiate extras if they won't budge on the price of the car. I was surprised how much wiggle room was in the extended maintenance versus the car itself. I wasn't interested in the maintenance at all but they came back with a price that included that which was good for me. Good luck... |

Good ideas on the maintenance stuff. I've been looking for CPO s if possible. Actually traveling is an option and part of the reason I wouldn't budge anymore. I had a $300 flight and 1200 mile trip home to take into account. Now if only I could talk myself out of navigation this would be sooooooo much easier
