Someone mentioned they enjoy how the car sounds during shifts...

To that I have to say, why is the upshift "crack" so soft? Even on the agressive setting upshifts are very subtle. I do get random little pops on upshift which i never had before, but what I really like the most is that nice loud crack which was very loud in previous test maps. The pops themselves don't do anything for me.

The only mod I have is the bms intake, everything else is stock. One more question about the idle rpm setting, was that implemented for people who use the cold start delete that were having idle issues, or for everyone?

Hello guys

I have a question, If you will answer my question Thanks in advice.

Car is 2012/02 135i n55 dct

I have Stage2+ mhd tune with european 93 octane setup

- new plugs ( oem )
- new coils (oem )
- new injectors (oem)
- Wagner Tuning IC
- Catless DP
- 76' Exhaust
- AFE Stage 2 Intake

My problem is I see retard in half throttle and sometimes in idle like -0.5 or -1. In Full throttle after 4. gear I see -4 -5 sometimes. Im adding ethanol to reduce this but its not reducing well, Im also try this with stock map. Its Same, I think its hardware related but which one I dont know, Lambda values also good. What is your prefer for checking ? Im also try this with NGK plugs, Same issue. Is it related knock sensor ? or HPFP ?

Thanks
Utku

Regards,
If you have 60k on the car and haven't done so already, I definitely think you should do plugs. Packs not necessary unless you think the car is misfiring and the plugs don't fix it. Most don't change them until 80-100K from what I have seen.

I just want to verify with a stock clutch/flywheel that I should have a DMFW, correct? Is it still ok to set rpm around 800, or would you suggest leaving it as is?

Just wanted to give a shout out to Justin and his product. Installed stage 2 on my '11 N55 last night. Previously running JB4 stage 1 and immediately noticed a power difference which was expected, but the delivery is super smooth and linear! Love the accessibility options and upgrades through the app. Very enjoyable experience, TY!

Is there any benefits to keeping the JB4 on?

I would remove it completely. You're not supposed to stack MHD stage2 and a JB4.

Thanks, how do we get on the beta channel? Would love to raise my idle rpm after installing solid engine and trans mounts for a track only car!

Edit: Can I be added to the beta channel?

Is the beta the only way to raise the idle? If so, I'm also interested.

Are there any dyno charts showing a totally stock N55 vs MHD tune (no other mods)? I haven't been able to find any.

I think someone had a positive experience. You can give it a shot but this will remove the dinan tune. If it fails, simply flash back to stock.

Justin, I have a custom Twisted Tuning map that you put together about a year ago as I have a PS2 on my car. If I update the MHD software on my tablet and re-flash my custom map will the corrections and fixes that have been made since then be applied or do these changes have to be manually added to the custom map by you?

Were all maps over-boosting? I am running stage 2+ and car runs amazing. Do I have to update?

Anyone else have issues joining beta? Everytime I update to beta, its asking me to buy licenses all over again.
