Are you finding limp mode from overheating?

I usually do 3 hot laps that's takes avg of 5 mins then
Then cool off for 2 mins I don't want engine overheat and lose power during those hot laps n sometimes I need to do more Oil temperature improved slightly when I added Dinan oil cooler Experienced limp mode previously and started simply not overheating the engine as by not exceeding more then 3 hot laps |

I have a custom oil cooler set up from ADE. I can find out what size the radiator is for his oil cooler set up, probably much larger than the plug and play Dinan or ER coolers.
He also added a custom thermostat with a lower setpoint and larger lines/fittings which allows much higher flow of oil through the cooler. He made a custom shroud to direct airflow to it. My tune gives me 450 WTQ and 380 WHP. I can run consistent hot laps for a 20 minute session and never see oil temps over 265. I am sure I could run even longer, but I haven't had a chance to do a true open lapping day since in installed the cooler.

Solidify the rear end.
Proper front splitter and wing since you've started the aero path already 18" wheel with better tyre option. Don't waste time with square setups. Diff upgrade (limitedslip.de) Upgrade from KW V3s to work better with all the above. Wouldn't touch anything else.

I'm Considering now Staggered Setups on Apex SM-10 wheels With the following recommendations Front: 18x9.5" ET22 with 265/35-18 tires Rear: 18x10.5" ET22 with 285/35-18 tires However no tires fits for the rear either cup 2 or r888r. Checked both not available - Cup 2 has 285/30/18 . 35 profile not available - R888r has no 285 on 18" |

Front lip isn't a splitter, it's not doing anything. Whereas, this APR one that was specifically templated for Berns on his 1M clone is a splitter:
V3s use a progressive/beehive front spring. You might need to convert it to a linear and smaller diameter (60mm?) spring to fit a 9.5 or 10" front wheel. Same deal on the rear as most r-specs. I use Z221 285/30 on the rear without problems. Tyres completely depend on your locale and requirements. R888R aren't great, especially on anything heavier than clubmans and MX5s. What other R-specs can you get there? Pirelli Trefeo R, Goodyear Supercar 3/3R are other "road" dual-duty tyres that are far better then Cup2.

I am leaning now to staggered setup now for my driving style plus for rear traction If I go for Front: 18x9.5" ET22 with 265/35-18 tires Rear: 18x10.5" ET22 with 285/35-18 tires Or Rear: 18x11" ET25 with 285/35-18 tires or 295/30 Will The rear fits on 295/30 without any damage and scrubbing on the fenders ? Will I need fender rolling ? Anyone have gone with this setup on 295/30? Read through the forms mostly are old discussions and on stock suspension or OEM 19" wheels |
