Front should be ok, but rears will likely rub occasionally on the fender lip. Offset really needs to be ET50 or higher, or you could do the E90 rear hub conversion.

I ran et42/45 F/R with 255/35-18 with no issues and Bmwp springs. Not sure on the et40.

Fits great, no rubs except going over railroads and into parking lots. I think it's just where the fender bolts into the front bumper

No way, always wanted to know if these would fit on a 1 series. Any more photos?

They're replicas of style 351M - notice the lip.

Not sure if anyone has tried fitting style 189 wheels off a 3series but they fit albeit snug.
I use them as my winter setup.

Hi guys, have skim read over the past few weeks what I believe is pretty much every post in this thread. It's quite addictive!

Looking to go:

18x8.5 +35, 18x9.5 +33
225/40/R18, 245/35/R18

Not planning to slam it overly low... maybe just H&R/Eibach springs if I can find the right set.

From what I've read in this thread and others across this site, front should be OK. Will the rears require anything more than a bit of a roll?

No pulling, cutting, camber work?

No chance a 9.5” rear wheel with an offset of 33 will fit without significant fender work.

Yeah this is what makes it so tricky. On this thread alone there's at least a few examples of people running even more aggresive 9.5 offset's than that, and saying nothing more than a roll?

I'm guessing how much it's lowered has a huge part to do with it?

Do the 328i rear hub conversion and you should be able to fit the rears with a bit aggressive fender work

Fit some 235/40/18 on fronts and 265/35/18. Falcon Azenis rt-615k+ tires. They are on the stock M sport wheels. I'll snag a pic later. No rubbing. I'm lowered on Dinan suspension

I'm thinking of buying a set of wheels with these measurements.

Front: 8,5x19, ET35, 225/35/19
Rear: 9,5x19, ET22, 255/30/19

Stock M sport suspensions

No fender mods.

Will this work?

No sir. Not even with a super stretched tire. Fronts might be OK with some negative camber but in the rear you need an offset of +40ish or higher plus a ton of negative camber depending on tire choice

Thank you for your help.
How about these ones then with different ET? That's really the only option I can buy of the wheels I want to here in Sweden.

Front: 8,5x19, ET35, 225/35/19
Rear: 9,5x19, ET45, 255/30/19

Stock M sport suspensions

No fender mods.

Will that work maybe?

That will probably be ok. It might rub occasionally, but a fender roll would likely take care of that.

Just fitted 255/35/18 on a 18" 8.5" ET44 wheel on front axle, with camber plate running 3.0 degree camber.
It clears with no fender mod, the wheel has approx. 3mm clearance to the strut while the tyre has 2mm, I will put in a 3mm spacer later just for safety.

I've looked through over 30 pages of this thread and can't seem to find the information I'm looking for. I would like to run a 255/35/18 tire on a 8.5" wheel with an et45 on the rear. I'm also considering a 235/40/18 tire on the same wheel for the front. I'm concerned with rubbing in the front or possible suspension clearance. I'm on stock msport suspension and don't plan to lower anytime soon. Any and all thoughts are appreicated
