New to me 128i M Sport

I just picked up this 2013 128i M sport. No sunroof, No iDrive, manual sport seats with heat. I plan to drive if for the rest of the month before swapping out the steptronic with a manual transmission.

Looking good.
Do you also still have your Z3 M coupe as well?

Hmm, this is the one you wrote about in BimmerLife a couple of years ago, correct? It sounded then as though this one or one like it would eventually find its way into your garage.

I picked up a base 128i a few months ago - no sunroof, manual standard seats, 6MT. Been repairing/upgrading it since - Bilstein B12, M3 front stabilizer bar, Apex ARC-8s with Michelin PS4S, swapped in some sport seats, and a few (my wife would say many) other things.

Having a lot of fun with it - what a quick, responsive go-kart. I do have a three-stage intake manifold to install sometime soon (need to pick up the DISA valves).

Have fun with yours - I'm looking forward to some columns about the adventure.

Will do! Parts are in and the swap will start in a week. Normally I would do it myself but I am preparing a cross country move. My friend Mike an Nordkuste Performance is doing it for me. That way I can pick up the car after the move is done and I can enjoy it before Vermont winter sets in.

This is the car in the bimmerlife article. My buddy Alex wrote it. I picked the car up from him / Glen Shelly Auto. I traded my E30 for it. I am loving it so far. More so once the manual trans swap and LSD are installed.

Ah, I had my timing off on who had the car when. Well, good luck with the trans swap. Although I had not owned a manual transmission car in almost 30 years, I definitely wanted the 6MT on my 128i and got lucky finding one only a few miles down the road.

Nice find! My car is very similar, except mine is a man. When you do the swap, you'll definitely see the difference. This car, especially the 128i, shines way more when you control your gears.

I love the red interior with the white, I might consider doing it in the future. May I ask what mileage it has and a ballpark number of how much you paid? Curious to know what the value of these is currently.
