When I was looking for my manual trans, like others I kept seeing the listing saying “manual transmission” yet it actually had an automatic. I would look at the interior photos to verify three pedals and an honest stick.
Found my 128 in Wisconsin and drove her back to Phoenix. I recently had a loaner 330i from the dealer while they did my airbag replacement. I hated everything about that car, the trans was only part of it. All of the idiot nanny warnings ruined the car, couldn’t wait to give it back. Handled like an Oldsmobile. If I ever buy another BMW it will be an older one, no way I’d buy a new one. |

Depends on the options you want.
I got mine 2yrs ago. With 104k. I periodically look on cars.com for them. There are always 5-10.. Be prepared to work on it. I’m a third owner on mine, and as far as I know, it was not modified. I waited 2 months to find mine.. third one I looked at. Luckily it was only 300 miles away. It was a fun ride home. |

Luckily it stopped raining next day and I drove my car with windows open. That PPK+PE combo made such beautiful noises... was I mad to be thinking of selling her? Anyway, the car was listed for two days and I had a solid buyer ready to pony up some serious coin for this sweet 135i 6MT with under 20K miles. I changed my mind just in time to cancel the deal before it was too late. Locally, there's nothing remotely similar available unless you want DCT and even so, selection is very limited. It actually took me over a year to find this car when I was looking. And it wasn't even 100% match with what I wanted. So in my opinion, yes, they are rare and mint example with no stories an extra-low miles will yield a price that defies the KBB bulshit. Last edited by vinylengraver; 04-22-2018 at 06:33 PM.. |

Reason why I'm not selling mine hehe
Even though I'm over 100k miles now. People think it's a 2014 or something with like 50k. Gotta keep them fresh
