The one with the M stripes was recommended by you, swagon (thanks). The other one is a Chinese knock-off. Actually, I think they're both Chinese knock-offs. Both have held up pretty well though. I rotate my keys weekly to help keep the batteries charged.

Edit: I think I got the other one from a link provided by MGM135is. (thanks, buddy)

+5whp, +10wtq. Biggest improvement is that it makes you a better driver than Lewis Hamilton

Nice.. did you do a before and after dyno test?

Lewis Hamilton is one A-W-E-S-O-M-E driver!

That steering wheel definitely has to add some POWER!

With the extra oomph from your gloves and steering wheel, who needs a tune? lol

No key chain, I just carry the fob by itself.

I originally bought a BMW "1" key chain (like above), but when I heard the noise against the dash, I immediately removed it.

Unfortunately, I lost one of my fobs, first time I've lost a key after 30 years of driving. Worst of all, I lost it in my house, ~5 years ago. I know if I have it replaced, I'll find it in the house, so I've been holding out on getting a replacement.

With my windows open (always) and the Performance exhaust, I hear nothing from the key chain.

Hope you find your lost key fob, cause they're expensive to replace, as I'm sure you know.

I keep things simple now. I have a few BMW-branded quick disconnect keychains, but they end up being just a bit too long for my liking.

The second photo is from several years ago when I was driving an E46. The BMW key ring in that photo was awesome. It was the perfect length and looked great. Unfortunately it broke a few years back, but I kept all of the pieces. It's been NLA for a while now.

I also own a pair of the M driving gloves and have had them for about 4 years ago. I'm a huge fan of them, as they really seem to enhance the driving experience. They cut down on steering wheel and shift knob wear and just feel great. I put over 4,000 miles on my pair last year when I crossed the country in a Z4 M.
