Chip Repair Advice ??
Just noticed I have a nice big good chip in my new baby already. I'm getting the clear bra installed next weekend and of course now I have to fill it in first: does anyone have advise on getting this "repaired" before the install ? I'm calling my dealer tomorrow to buy some touch up paint, hopefully they have it in the Pen form like Honda does. I'm so pissed

Mine is scratched as well. Here in Oregon it has been known to rain on occasion, as a result the roads are highly-crowned with deep gutters. The other day, transitioning on to the road I unfortunately scratched the bottom of his chinny chin-chin. I was most unhappy as well.Should your car be JB, color code 668, the BMW part# is 51 91 0 419 746. The 'system' is a two part affair, basecoat plus clear lacquer, two bottles of paint which offer small, awkward brushes with which to glob-on the paint.
When mine gets repaired I'll be using some Krylon-brand from a spray bomb, sprayed into a container then judiciously applied with a proper small paint brush.
