Upgrading to LCI Headlights
So I have a 128i with Xenon AHL headlights. What all is required to switch to the newer housing with the LED brow? I've searched and I know it's possible but no one has clarified if I need to drop $1k+ if I already have Xenons with AHL.
Will switching mean I sacrifice my AHL / Xenons or can I keep what I have currently and just swap them into the newer housing? Last edited by 702pjc; 09-01-2016 at 05:57 PM.. |

You can look through my build thread - I swapped from US-spec pre-LCI xenons to Euro-spec LCI xenons. It's not hard, but it 's not cheap.

Damn. So what you're saying is that if I wanted to have the same setup as I do now (Xenon AHL) with the newer housing I would need to sell my set and buy the equivalent (Xenon AHL LCI)?
Seems like a lot of hassle for little reward. How much could I get for my current lights anyway? |
